イタリア語のsieroという言葉、辞書を調べると、乳清、血清とある。なんだ全然ちがう言葉で繋がってないなあと最初は思ったがよく考えると古い日本語とつながっていることに気がついた。
それは “ ち” これは元々の日本語で 漢字が入ってきて “ 乳 ” になり
“ 血 ”になった。
イタリアも日本も元々の考え方は体から出てくるものは元々そんなに区別しなかったんだなあ、と改めて思った。生理学的に行っても乳汁は血液が変化したものだからね。
